This Privacy Policy explains how Glimerz (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit glimerz.com (the “Site”) or use our social media publishing integration (“the App”).
Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account or submit personal information to read our content. If you contact us directly (for example, by email), we may collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
If you subscribe to the Glimerz newsletter, we collect the email address you submit and the source associated with the subscription. We use that information to send the requested newsletter and manage subscriptions. You may unsubscribe or request deletion by contacting us.
Cookies & Tracking
Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Site, measure traffic, improve our services, and support advertising.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site usage, such as page views and general interaction patterns. Google may collect and process information such as device identifiers, IP-related information, and usage data according to Google’s policies.

Newsletter Data
Newsletter subscriptions are processed through our third-party database service, Supabase. We use the submitted email address only to operate the Glimerz newsletter and related subscription functions. We do not sell newsletter subscriber email addresses.
Third-Party Links
Our Site contains links to Amazon.com and other third-party websites as part of our participation in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
Social Media Account Connections (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
Glimerz offers an integration (“the App”) that allows a business to connect their own Facebook Page, Instagram Business account, and/or Pinterest account so that content can be published to those accounts on their behalf.
What we access. When you connect an account through the App, we request access only to the information needed to publish content on your behalf, which may include:
- Your Page or profile name and basic account information
- The list of Pages, boards, or Instagram Business accounts you manage, so you can choose where to publish
- The ability to create posts, pins, or media on the account(s) you explicitly connect
We do not access your personal messages, contacts, or any data unrelated to publishing content to the account(s) you connect.
How we use this access. Access is used exclusively to carry out actions you or your authorized AI agent request — for example, publishing a post, pin, or image to an account you’ve connected. We do not use this access to read, analyze, or repurpose your content for any other business or advertising purpose.
How we store this access. When you connect an account, we store an access token (a credential issued by Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest) that lets the App act on your behalf until you disconnect. We do not store your account password — authentication happens directly with Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest through their own login process. Stored tokens are used solely to maintain your connection and are not shared, sold, or disclosed to any third party.
Your control. You may disconnect any connected account at any time, which revokes the App’s access. You can do this either by contacting us at the email below, or directly through the account settings of the platform you connected (Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest each let you revoke third-party app access from their own settings).
Data retention. Stored tokens are retained only for as long as your account remains connected, or until you request disconnection, whichever comes first.
How We Use Information
Information you voluntarily provide, such as contact details or a newsletter email address, is used for the purpose for which it was provided and to operate the related Site service. Information accessed through connected social media accounts is used solely as described above, to publish content on your behalf.
We do not sell personal information for advertising purposes.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding the personal data we hold about you, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
